(Slightly) Delulu is the Solulu
Let’s be real - sometimes, the only thing standing between you and your dream life (or just keeping you sane) is a little bit of delusion.
Think about it. Do you actually have the experience for that job you’ve been applying for? Probably not. But are you submitting that résumé with main character confidence anyway? Absolutely. Or what about those totally unrealistic scenarios you create in your head - like imagining a whole love story with someone just because they liked your Instagram story? Delulu.
But here’s the thing - we all know that “delulu IS the solulu” when used in a healthy way.
Why?
Because some of the most successful people in the world got where they are by believing in themselves before anyone else did. They visualized their success, manifested their future, and kept showing up - long before the world gave them a reason to.
So, what if a little bit of (harmless) delusion is actually the secret to confidence, success, and finally becoming that version of yourself?
If you’ve ever wanted to walk into a room like you own the place, manifest a job you’re not even qualified for, or just stop second-guessing yourself all the time, this is your sign to embrace your delulu era and fake it ‘til you make it.
And trust me, this mindset shift actually works. It’s something I’ve been trying myself, and I swear - it changes the game. It might feel irrational at first, but shifting your mindset to something more positive, more confident, and yes, a little bit delulu, can lead to outcomes you never expected.
Still not convinced?
Let me hit you with some real-life proof. Jim Carrey wrote himself a check for $10 million when he was broke - years before he ever made it big. Now? His net worth is over $180 million. Oprah Winfrey was once told she wasn’t fit for TV. Today? She’s literally Oprah. Enough said.
If you’re not inspired by that, then let me at least challenge you. Dust off that dream you gave up on and take one small step toward it. Set an audacious goal and back it up with delusional confidence. Step into your main character energy and own it.
Be bold. Take a leap. Believe in yourself.
I know it’s easier said than done, but if you don’t believe in yourself, who will?
And just in case you need the reminder - I believe in you. I’m counting on you. Now go be delulu in the best way possible.
- with love. JiHun -
